Data is sourced from FAOSTAT and FishStat, with some exceptions.
The data cutoff is 1 October 2021.
Country Classification: Based on the United Nations M49 classification.
Data Presentation Conventions:
- A blank indicates data not available or missing.
- "0" or "0.0" indicates zero or a number rounded to zero.
- "<2.5" and "$<0.1$" indicate values below 2.5% or 100,000 people, respectively.
Aggregation Rules:
- Regional and subregional aggregates are based on the M49 classification.
- Some indicators are based on the aggregation rules from the State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2021 report.
- Aggregations are computed only if at least 50% of the variable and the weighting variable are reported.
