Key Requirements
1. Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a national of an EU Member State or the EEA (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway)
- Must have completed at least three years of university studies
- Must have a thorough knowledge of one EU language and satisfactory knowledge of another
- Must be physically fit and have no criminal record
- Must be entitled to full citizen rights and have fulfilled any military service obligations
2. Professional Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant full-time professional experience

- PhD studies may be counted as professional experience if the candidate received a study grant or salary
- Maximum duration of PhD experience counted is 3 years
3. Language Proficiency
- Excellent knowledge of English (both written and spoken) is required
- Native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency in a second EU language

- Practical experience in the resolution of banking or financial groups
- Experience with the operation of supervisory/resolution colleges
- Proven knowledge of EU banking regulation, particularly in crisis management and deposit guarantee schemes
- Proven experience in drafting policy briefings

Selection Procedure
- A selection committee will be formed and will review applications

Appointment and Employment Conditions
