Survey Overview

Step 1: Behavioral Risk Factors

- Alcohol consumption: 46.9% are abstainers; 40.3% are current drinkers; 44.1% engage in binge drinking (high-intensity consumption).
- Fruit and vegetable intake: Mean fruit servings per day: 1.4; mean vegetable servings per day: 1.4; 86.1% consume less than 5 combined servings on average.
- Physical activity: 19.4% have low activity levels (<600 MET-min/week); 60.3% have high activity levels (≥3000 MET-min/week); median daily activity time is 162.9 minutes.
Step 2: Physical Measurements
- Body metrics: Mean BMI is 24.3; 36.9% are overweight (BMI ≥25); 10.5% are obese (BMI ≥30); average waist circumference is 83.5 cm.
- Blood pressure: Mean systolic BP is 133.3 mmHg, mean diastolic BP is 79.8 mmHg; 38.7% have raised BP (SBP ≥140 or DBP ≥90 or on medication).
Step 3: Biochemical Measurements
- Blood glucose: Mean fasting glucose is 5.4 mmol/L; 25.6% have impaired fasting glycaemia; 12.7% have raised blood glucose.
- Cholesterol: Mean total cholesterol is 4.2 mmol/L; 13.0% have raised total cholesterol (≥5.0 mmol/L or ≥190 mg/dl).
Summary of Combined Risk Factors
