报告摘要
Globally, influenza activity remained low with varying trends by region and season. Recommendations include monitoring co-circulation with SARS-CoV-2 and prioritizing influenza in differential diagnoses for high-risk groups. Key findings:
- Oceania saw decreasing influenza A activity, with RSV low.
- South Africa and most South and Central America had low detections, below seasonal thresholds.
- Tropical Africa showed all subtypes co-circulating but low activity; Southern Asia increased activity with A(H3N2) predominant.
- Southeast Asia maintained elevated activity, co-circulating A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2).
- Northern Hemisphere temperate zones had mostly low activity, except Eastern and Western Asia where A(H3N2) was prevalent.
SARS-CoV-2 positivity averaged around 10% globally from sentinel surveillance, decreasing in some regions. RSV activity was generally low across most areas. Laboratory data from GISRS showed influenza A and B viruses detected, with A(H1N1)pdm09 and A(H3N2) dominating in multiple regions.
